Postpartum Series Breath and Flow

This series is designed for women that may have had a baby in the last four to twelve weeks. BUT is great for anyone with a core, and any number of months to years postpartum.

This series starts with breath work and evolves into full body functional motor patterns, to help you move functionally in your everyday actions. You will establish a solid core foundation, wake up your posterior chain, and enhance your posture through safe, effective movements that transfer to any activity in our daily lives. Our top three words to describe this class would be BREATH, BODY, and FLOW. The class will be 75 minutes in length. You will be also be given movement homework to practice. So, come ready to move and connect with the BIRTHFIT Tribe. Non-mobile babies are welcome.

Classes will be hosted on Sunday at 4:00 pm beginning on July 14th. They will be held at Crossfit Detour located at 945 37th Ave NW Rochester, MN 55901

BIRTHFIT Postpartum Series

This series will run on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 11-12pm through the month of April.

You've gone through the marathon of labor and birth, take the time to recover from the most beautiful and athletic event of your life. This course is for those who are at least 6 weeks postpartum, but is also great for moms 1, 2 or even 3 years postpartum. This series of 8 classes over 4 weeks will help you to establish a solid core foundation and return to - or learn - functional movement patterns safely. We will discuss pelvic floor dysfunction and diastasis rectus abdominis, in addition to:

  • Learning to honor your postpartum body

  • Establish a solid core foundation

  • Wake up your posterior chain

  • Enhance your posture through safe, effective functional movements that transfer into everyday life tasks.

Come prepared to move, sweat, and connect with other new moms.
